Chef Johnene is a talented and highly skilled personal chef with over six years experience from the New Orleans culinary industry. Before becoming a personal chef, Chef Johnene worked at a number of the best restaurants in the city such as Emeril’s Restaurant, Brigtsen’s Restaurant and Ritz Carlton New Orleans. Chef Johnene graduated in May 2016 from Nicholls State University with a Bachelors of Science in Culinary Arts.
Shortly after graduating, she began her personal chef journey working for one of the greatest rappers of all time. Chef Johnene has worked with a number of A-list celebrities and currently resides in Los Angeles working as a personal chef.
She has been featured in and on the cover of Thibodaux/Houma, Louisiana’s “Bayou Gourmet Cookbook” 41st Anniversary Premium Edition, which details her culinary journey along with the recipe for her signature dish, Scallops Lafourche.
She was also chosen to be one of the distinguished judges for the 2016 “4-H Great American Seafood Cook Off” hosted at the Louisiana Foodservice & Hospitality Expo in New Orleans, LA. Chef Johnene specializes in comfort southern dishes that will make you feel right at home.Book Chef
