Chef Mary, an Akron Ohio native, has worked at some of the finest restaurants in the culinary epicenter of the world in New York City. She honed her craft at Le Cirque and went on to work with the King of the Sea, Chef Dave Pasternack at Esca. She also worked at Anthony Bourdain’s flagship restaurant Les Halles on Park Ave. in Manhattan.
She is an arsenal of ever-evolving ideas and being a chef was an easy career choice for her.
Mary graduated from The International Culinary Center, formerly The French Culinary Institute, in Manhattan as apart of the Inaugural Italian Immersion Experience program that sent the students overseas to work and study under michelin star chefs in Parma Italy. She also has thorough knowledge of food and wine pairing.
She challenged the stereotypes of vegetarian and vegan food by incorporating fine dining techniques to plant based cuisine, much to the praise of critics, vegans and omnivores.
