Chef Mike Lynard was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. Michael’s love for cooking and the culinary industry started in high school working at local restaurants and his passion increased to become a great chef. Two weeks after high school graduation Michael enrolled at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute in Scottsdale Arizona. From there he went on to work under French master chef Marc Erhler who mentored him at Loews Ventana Canyon at the 5 Diamond Ventana Room in Tucson, Arizona.
From there Michael went on to work for the Minnesota Twins at the Minneapolis Target Field , Aspen ‘s Alpine Bistro Cloud Nine, Executive Chef creating menus for upscale breweries in Carbondale CO and South Lake Tahoe.
Michael moved to San Diego early 2020 to enjoy the ocean life and became an avid surfer and golfer. He gained experience working in galley’s on San Diego’s premier tuna sport fishing boat and most recently working on private yacht charter in the US Virgin Islands.
