Peter Barlow is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee and currently resides in Dallas, Texas. He worked as Chef de Cuisine at Easy Bistro for James Beard semi-finalist, Erick Niel for 5 years. During his time at Easy Bistro, Peter took a year off to travel across the country to work with top chefs and restaurants including 2 Michelin Star Chef Douglas Keene, Chef Ludo Lefebvre at Trois Mec and Chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo of Animal. He then traveled to Chicago to work for 3 Michelin Star Chef Curtis Duffy at Grace.
Shortly after he spent time with Chef John Shields (Charlie Trotter’s/Alinea) at Riverstead Inn in Virginia. Peter was chosen to be the opening Chef De Cuisine at Flora Street which has remained as the only 5 star restaurant in Dallas and nominated for James Beard best new restaurant 2017.
Among many other accolades in Dallas, Chef Peter has been nominated multiple times as best new chef and Texas rising star chef of the year by many local publishers. In 2018 he formed Niteshade Chef Collaborative with business partner Chef DAT, together they choreograph elaborate festivals, socialite parties, nationwide personal chef and restaurant consulting services.
